🌿 A Huge Thank You to Our Village Litter Pick Volunteers! 🌿
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent village litter pick (30th May 2026).
Thanks to your hard work and community spirit, our footpaths and green spaces are looking cleaner and more welcoming for everyone to enjoy.
It was wonderful to see the community coming together to make a positive difference, proving once again what a fantastic community we have!
Thank you for giving your time and helping to keep our village a place we can all be proud of.
A total of 6 bags of rubbish was collected from all over the village. This is good, but also not so good that our lovely village has this amount of litter when rubbish bins are provided.

Allotments
Unfortunately at this time the Parish Council is not able to offer allotments.
The Parish Council itself does not own any land and so has been in communications with local landowners to try and find an area of land which may be able to be used for allotments, but at this time this has been unsuccessful.
If the Parish Council becomes aware of some land being made available this may be revisited.
